I think this is my DREAM PHONE , one that has almost everything you can imagine and everything the iPhone hasn’t got , Nokia N97 is The iPhone Killer that everybody has been waiting for.Its also being said this new Nokia N97 will be "world’s most advanced mobile computer" with features like a 3.5 Sliding Tilt Display a Full Qwerty keypad and a Touch Interface.
Ok i have been hoping to see something like this for sometime and i actually have this done on my own using the Life Blog software of my Nokia N95 but it was not that simple i had to use a custom script on my Wordpress Blog and so on.But a company called Telewaving has announced a standalone Wordpress Client for Series60 users and for folks who don’t know what Series60 or S60 is , its a platform mobile platform of many of the top Nokia phones which include the N Series models etc.
The Application is named Wavelog and it will enable users to post Image , Audio, Video or Text content on there Wordpress Blog directly from there Series 60 phone , i really hope this application is made available to users who have UIQ or Java based phone software because these kind of software’s will revolutionize Blogging and Mobile Blogging or lets say Micro Blogging.The application has been tested with N95 on Wordpress.com and self hosted Wordpress Blog and works flawlessly but the catch is that the software is not Free you have to buy the $10 license which is not that expensive or you can get a Free Trial of Wavelog , if you don’t want to pay the $10 license ? and have Life Blog installed on your Nokia phone you might want to try out this method posted by me on a friends blog.
Just yesterday got a Nokia N95 8gb the amazing thing is that it came preloaded with Spider Man 3 Full Movie and i think it was imported from the Middle East because the movie showed Arabic subtitles and the N95 had Arabic songs which i really liked , to be honest i have always been a fan of Sony Ericsson and against Nokia because they are too expensive and too little built in features but i have seen and read on the web that more 3rd party applications are available for the S60 series than any other platform which include the Nokia N95 so i thought may be i should give Nokia a try and i am happy that it has reached my expectation mainly i wanted a mobile through which i can check Email , Sign into Windows Live Messenger and Chat with my Messenger contacts these are the two most important things i needed on the N95.
